Trust me! That's exactly happening when I traveled to China in 2006.

They give you wrong direction with no shame. I have to ask 10 people to find out the direction and still get wrong direction. Finally I realized that 9 of those 10 people are not local people. The last person from local lie to me.

I think that's typical Chinese in China. They feel shame on not KNOWing what you ask for. So they just point you to somewhere else.

I am still old school, and navigate by map, but I have to say that the explosion of GPS units attached to car windscreens has been nothing short of phenomenal, the public absolutely loves them. For the traveller they do make loads of sense though, as well as for the outdoorsy people.

yes, we do need GPS when travelling, especially in new country. please learn how to use it before using it.

This Buddhist are funny.I agree with you about GPS.It is really interesting how far this technology go ahead, so sometimes it all seams like "things" from "James Bond".Almost everything from this movie has come true.
