I love the commentluv plugin. Not only does it help me get traffic, but I usually try to check out my comments to find interesting post to read.

I love the commentluv plugin too! It is a fun way to surf around the web. You get to read a interesting post, then click on another interesting post right on the same page.
I've just installed the Comment Luv plug-in a few days back as well. I think it's a fantastic way to give visitors a gentle nod and encourage commenting at the same time!
Thanks for the link and the explanation - I'd seen it mentioned but that was it. I've installed it myself now. :)

you're right. since using the plugin for less than a month, the comments in my blog increased four fold. it will really encourage readers to leave behind comments and participate in the discussion. it's a win-win situation for both the blog owner and the readers since the benefits are two-way.

I also use and recommend this plug-in. Gives me a peek into my readers worlds as well. Sometimes I don't have time to read everyone's blog, but this way I can see their last post and those who read comments on my blog can see it as well -- a mini feed reader if you will!
Use center and /center code with the < and > Example: < center>Your Code Here< /center> without the space.

I'm interested in knowing more about the effect of this plugin on your PR. Did you notice increase or decrease in your PR after you implement this plugin or just more traffic and more comments?

I even had to turn comments off on the post because there were literally hundreds of pingbacks coming in every week and it caused the post page to be a mile long!

I really like this plugin but am concerned about the effect it may have on my googleability... i think if you are going for readers this plugin is great... if you want search traffic it's not as good... as a compromise I have it on about 1/2 my blogs
I have to say since I installed the CommentLuv plugin I have definitely seen an increase in my comments. Some are spammer comments but most are actually worthwhile to the discussion.

Of course if you show link love on your blog then some of the juice will flow to commenters, but even if you don't it will help with other search engines as well
This plugin has really taken off by storm, I for one think it's a really fantastic way to encourage more feedback from your readers & also feel like you're givnig something back to them for commenting.
Have you seen much change in the amount of people commenting on your blog?
I've just installed commentluv on all my blogs and am now just sitting back to wait for the sudden influx of comments :lol: what I really love about it though is how you can browse other people's last post and do a bit of blog hopping.
Glad to see your giving link love to your readers. The do follow movement is a great one.

I think this is a great tool to encourage user participation by rewarding them for adding meaningful content to the blog. Blogging should be an interaction between the reader and writer. Increased comments on your blog has search benefits for the blog(ger) and commentluv gives a nice plug to the commenter. Seems like a nice match if it doesn't become a spam magnet.

commentluv and keywordluv together with dofollow made my blog no. 1 in my keyword. i was getting over 15k daily UV and my adsense shot through the roof. I'll recommend everyone to install them both,

This gives them improved anchor text, which can help their site rank higher in the search engine results. You can now leave a comment with your name as well as a keyword of your choice here and get a PR5 link back to your site! How cool is that? People pay big bucks for that and all you have to do is comment here.
My own blog at Karlonia.com does not yet have the CommentLuv plugin but it is DoFollow for comments. I just discovered the KeywordLuv plugin (great idea!) earlier today, but sadly my theme seems to be incompatible. This probably doesn’t matter much, however; people seem to be doing a good enough job of putting their keywords in the name field anyway :)
I'm only new to blogging so I don't know much about this plugin yet. I have looked at the options and there seem to be quite a few on the market. I'd love to know which is best in the eyes of bloggers>

Well it should be show up automatically with your comments. If it doesn't, you should add the code by yourself in the comment.php in your theme folder. I don't know exactly where, but put it before the code of the comment form. If you need help, you should go ask the creator of the plugin or google it. I'm sure I saw that question resolved in some blog. :wink:

It is great to see the "dofollow" movement gathering pace. If Goog had not integrated the PR indicator on their toolbar, then "no follow" would probably never seen the light of day!
